How to Apply for a Scholarship

Antioch has several scholarship opportunities for new students. The applications can be found below. Criteria may vary, so be sure to review each scholarship listing to determine your eligibility. Available Scholarships

Elaine Marie England Scholarship

The Elaine Marie England scholarship honors the life of former Antioch University Midwest student Elaine Marie England. This scholarship is a one-time award of $1000 for the fall 2023 term to an undergraduate Antioch Online student.

Eligibility requirements include:

  • Matriculated in the BA Completion Healthcare Administration program
  • Reside in the Miami Valley (Ohio) area
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Participated in community service projects

Please complete and submit the scholarship application prior to July 31, 2023.

Bruce and Arlene Crandall Scholarship

This $5,000 scholarship will be awarded to one Antioch University student accepted for the Summer/Fall MFA term, GSLC Summer Trimester, Fall Semester, or Fall Quarter, who has demonstrated social courage by serving in the US Military or has contributed to one of the following national service programs: AmeriCorps, City Year, Peace Corps, and VISTA by completing at least one year of full-time service. Apply for this scholarship for the 2024-25 academic year. 

The application deadline is September 15, 2024.

Social Emotional Learning Scholarship

Qualified applicants for the Antioch University Doctor of Education program’s Specialization in Social Emotional Learning will demonstrate a strong commitment to practices that support justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion and to further research into the use of social emotional learning practices in schools, organizations, and communities. Particular consideration will be given to BIPOC applicants and those from other marginalized communities. The scholarship will be awarded in the fall.
