Antioch University Los Angeles Commencement Ceremony

Three separate ceremonies serving different degree programs will be held at 10:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 4:00 PM.
Antioch University Los Angeles traditionally holds commencement activities for all academic programs every June. While Graduation is the official act of conferring a degree when all degree requirements have been met, Commencement is a ceremonial event where graduates and projected graduates are recognized and celebrated by peers, faculty, and guests. In order to walk in the Commencement Ceremony, students need to have recently graduated, be on track to graduate during the current academic year, and/or be granted special permission to walk early. Participation in Commencement is optional.
In 2024, AULA will hold three separate ceremonies in its campus courtyard in Culver City, CA. The three ceremonies will highlight student success at Antioch and feature speeches from graduating students and from the AULA Provost. Witnessed by peers, friends, and families, each graduate will cross the stage in AULA regalia, receive their diploma, and have professional photographs taken. Each graduate may invite up to four guests. AULA Commencement events will also be live-streamed for remote viewing audiences.
Graduate Registration is Required
Each graduate who wishes to walk in the Commencement Ceremony must register to attend. Register to participate in the Commencement ceremony by completing the Online Registration Form by 8:59 PM (PDT) on Wednesday, May 22, 2024.
Regalia for Commencement is Required
Graduates must wear official regalia in order to participate in Commencement. AULA has chosen Oak Hall Cap & Gown’s Greenweaver regalia, which is made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic bottles! Fewer plastic bottles will be choking our landfills because, for every Antioch student walking at commencement, an average of 25 plastic bottles were used to manufacture their cap and gown.
Place your regalia order at AULA’s Regalia Site by 8:59 PM (PDT) on Wednesday, May 22, 2024.
Livestream
The Commencement Ceremony will broadcast live on the internet on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at 10:00 AM, 1:00 PM, & 4:00 PM (PDT) so that friends and family can view the live event from anywhere in the world. Please find the live stream links for each of the three ceremonies below. After the ceremony is completed, the video will be available to watch online on demand.
