Angela Mohan, LMFT, received her Master of Arts in Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling from Phillips Graduate Institute in 1991 and her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Loyola Marymount University in 1987. She has been Adjunct Faculty at Antioch University since 2020 and previously taught at Pacifica Graduate Institute as both Core and Adjunct Faculty from 2007 through 2022. Since her licensure in 1994, Angela Mohan, LMFT, has split her time between private practice work, graduate teaching, and professional training. She specializes in the treatment of couples and families in her private practice in Ventura, California, and her work is based on systems theory, with attention paid to cognitive-behavioral theory and trauma-focused attachment theory. She is a Gottman Certified Couple’s Counselor and is on her way to certification in Sue Johnson’s Emotionally Focused Couple’s Therapy. She has worked for Child Protective Services in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties and has extensive experience in working with school-based treatment as well as substance abuse residential treatment for adolescents.
