I reside in Southeastern Ohio with my husband. Together we have two sons, one daughter, and 8 grandchildren. In my spare time I enjoy photography and cooking. I have a passion for helping those in need and volunteer as a provider to the homeless population in the area as well as helping those who are less fortunate and underserved who require healthcare.

I believe in the importance of meeting students where they are, what knowledge they bring to the table, and how I can help to expand on this base and guide them to become the best providers to those we serve. My teaching philosophy aligns with constructivist theory, which allows students to interact with their environment and faculty to develop the skills that they need to be self-efficient. I believe that faculty should maintain a supportive role, allowing each student to develop individually.
