Evan Woodall is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and Registered Play Therapy Supervisor. She has experience working with diverse populations and specializes in working with young children, children with challenging behaviors, play therapy, and parenting. In addition to teaching, Evan has a private practice in North Texas supporting children, adolescents, young adults, and parents of children with big emotions.

As an educator, play therapist/counselor, and supervisor, I aim to create a collaborative, engaging, and often experiential learning environment that supports self-awareness and skill development. I value the learning experience and encourage critical thinking and exploration while sharing real-world experiences. I strive to engage students in ways that highlight their strengths and challenge their growth edges in a playful manner. I work to meet students where they are and hold myself to the same standards I ask of students. My biggest goal is to support students in their personal and professional growth so that I trust they are empathic and ethical colleagues in the mental health field.
