Dr. Mesidor is a clinical health psychologist and clinical assistant professor at the Florida State University College of Medicine (FSUCOM), Department of Behavioral Sciences and Social Medicine. He provides individual and group supervision to post-doctoral fellows in Clinical Health Psychology at FSUCOM. He is also the course director for Behavioral Medicine at the Isabel Collier Read Medical Campus. His clinical and research interests mainly focus on chronic disease management (type 2 diabetes) with low literacy populations and the psychological impact of trauma on health. He serves on the American Psychological Association (APA) Interdisciplinary Minority Fellowship Program (IMFP) Training Advisory Committee (ITAC).
