Lesley Jackson, PhD has a prominent background in psychology and higher education, having served in both the divisions of Student Affairs as an administrator and having university teaching posts in Academic Affairs at several institutions of higher education at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, including California Institute of Integral Studies and Michigan State University. Her experience includes a focus on transformative pedagogy with an emphasis on tools and skills for well-being, change, and development. She has developed and managed programs for diverse organizations, including social services, community organizations, interfaith centers, parenting and youth development organizations, women’s empowerment groups, institutions of higher education, and Fortune 500 companies.
Dr. Jackson is passionate about personal growth as a means to meaningful individual and social change. A scholar-practitioner, her research interests are transdisciplinary, with a particular interest in transformative learning and leadership development, higher education, doctoral student support, creative inquiry, self-creation, holistic self-care and well-being, adult development, complexity, coaching, and spiritual intelligence.
