I believe in fostering a learning environment that is both collaborative and respectful, where students are viewed as colleagues and their rich life experiences are valued. My approach prioritizes humanism, self-directed learning, and the internal motivation of students to learn, with an emphasis on bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. I strive to create an inclusive and supportive atmosphere, integrating social justice and a holistic view of each student’s experience, understanding that their education must be balanced with other life roles and responsibilities. Through this philosophy, I aim to facilitate not just the acquisition of knowledge, but the development of lifelong learning and critical thinking.
