Victor Cohen, PhD, BA Yale University and PhD Clinical Psychology, University of Michigan, has been adjunct faculty at Antioch Los Angeles in the MAP Program since the Spring of 1995. He is a California Licensed Psychologist in private practice in Manhattan/Hermosa Beach. He has taught group treatment, psychotherapy process, personality theory courses, and workshops on meditation, spirituality, and psychotherapy at Antioch, Pepperdine, the University of Michigan, and Alliant/California School of Professional Psychology.
In addition, Dr. Cohen has been a practitioner of meditation for over thirty years. He has published several articles and written a book about the spirituality-psychotherapy interface. He does presentations and workshops in this area and likes to explore the spiritual dimensions of personal growth groups. He emphasizes therapist self-awareness and the power of group process in all his teaching.
